The Company

The company is a leader in the FMCG Industry with a strong global presence. The company has been operating in the Myanmar market and regarded as one of the most successful brands in the country. With a strong leadership team in Myanmar, they are now looking for an experienced Demand & Supply Planning Manager to be based in their Yangon manufacturing plant. 

The Position

Reporting to the Supply Chain Head, the appointed candidate will lead all the strategic planning, analysis, and program management in support of Demand Fulfillment across the country. He/She is accountable for the sourcing optimization with capacity analysis and strategic infrastructure studies to determine optimal infrastructure investment across the operational network. This includes ensuring that supply planning is aligned with demand plan for the country to optimise resources, asset utilization and working capital, while ensuring customer requirements and productivity targets are met.

The Demand & Supply Planning Manager must Integrate Material Resource Planning activities to leverage system’s capacity and capability, to drive value creation. He/She will define action plans, given the conditions of Capacity in Production, Distribution and Transport, which limit the supply of product.

The Person        

Interested candidates must have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain or similar) with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a combination of demand planning, production planning/scheduling, logistics, inventory control, purchasing, customer service, commercialization, import/export, and manufacturing management activities. Preferably with 5 years of experience in leadership management and 3 years in manufacturing facility. Functional competencies required are Negotiation, Communications, Customer Relationship Management, Customer Service, Foreign Trade, Bottling System Knowledge, Supplier Relationship Management, Material Planning, Operational Excellence / Lean Manufacturing, Logistics, Strategic Planning, Infrastructure Planning, Financial Management, and Structured Problem Solving.
