Richard Robinson

Richard is the Managing Director of Alphasearch and regarded amongst the leading recruitment specialists in Singapore/SE Asia. With more than 25 years’ experience across multiple industry sectors and regions, Richard has built an enviable reputation delivering mid- to senior-level appointments and as a trusted partner to some of the worlds most respected companies.

Graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Business from the University of Bradford Management Centre, Richard began his recruitment career in Scotland achieving success in the IT, Engineering and Oil & Gas sectors. Since his relocation to Singapore in 2002, he has played an important role managing large teams and pioneering specialist commerce and industry focused practices within market-leading recruitment firms.

After setting the industry standard in Singapore, in 2011, Richard established Alphasearch. In addition to ‘day to day’ business operations and leadership responsibilities, Richard retains ‘hands-on’ management of C-level appointments as fully-supporting the broad spectrum of assignments across multiple industry sectors and functions (notably real estate, legal and Private Equity investment). His aptitude for understanding micro-and macro-economics, extensive track record of providing senior-level support to Industrial corporations with respect to strategic hiring and a strong track record delivering local, regional and global assignments allows him to fully understand specific operating environments and hiring parameters. He is regularly asked to contribute opinion to senior members of the Asia real estate leadership community as well as receiving invitations to speak at local and regional conferences.
