The Company

Our client is a Singapore Listed Company with over 40 years’ of history. They have pride themselves in being a family-oriented environment that offers a good work life balance and culture. There is now a need to recruit an Accountant to be part of the finance team.

The Position

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant will assist in the preparation of the quarterly accounts, consolidation and management reporting as well as assist in the company’s taxation, and oversee other tax matters. You will also be assist in ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures and maintain the accounting standard. There will also be a need in liaise with external auditors, tax agents and other finance team members as well as assist the Finance Manager in the planning and implementation of the annual financial budgets and forecast.

The Person

To succeed in this role, candidates should have at least 3 year of working experience in accounting / finance. Candidates from the shipping/marine and construction industry will have an added advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as well as a willingness to learn.
