The Company 

The company is an influential Myanmar conglomerate with broad business interests comprising Banking, Real Estate, Construction & Engineering, Manufacturing, Energy, Agriculture, Hospitality & Leisure and stand-alone F&B. It now seeks to appoint a suitably-experienced Executive Chef to oversee a trio of F&B venues.

The Position

Located in Yangon, the appointed individual will drive the vision for a trio of fusion outlets located in the city whilst providing leadership to a kitchen brigade. The scope will include all aspects of financial performance, concept and menu development whilst ensuring that each venue sustains its individual brand identity whilst meeting and exceeding customer expectation. Naturally, the role combines a need for creative innovation with robust operational rigour, the latter including manpower planning, training and development.

The Person

Interested candidates will offer at least 8-10 years’ experience in F&B including prior international experience. This will be an expatriate appointment, whilst interested candidates should offer strong English language proficiency to complement East-West fusion experience. An ability to adapt and/or create new menus whilst delivering financial performance will be critical whilst demonstrating cultural versatility, resilience and tenacity will be important traits.
