The Company

 

The company is a leading and well-respected Microfinance (MFI) institution operating across Cambodia. Led by an international management team, the organization has grown rapidly and consistently. There is now a need to hire a Chief Human Resource Officer to be part of their team

 

The Position

Based in Phnom Penh, the appointed individual will report to and closely work with the CEO. The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will take charge of formulating the annual staffing plan and personnel budget, ensuring accurate estimations and diligently monitoring expenditures through thorough analysis. They will also design and oversee succession planning for managerial roles. The successful incumbent will oversee training and development initiatives across the organization, ensuring these support company activities and evolution. Additionally, the CHRO will supervise the formulation of HR policies, ensuring they align with the interests of both the company and its employees, while monitoring their effective and efficient implementation. This role includes assisting with the recruitment and selection process, as well as integrating newly onboarded senior management into the organization and their respective teams. As a strategic role, the CHRO will participate in and contribute to the relevance management committee, facilitating strategic decision-making.

 

 

The Person

To succeed in this role, the CHRO will hold a Master / Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field. The role requires candidates to have extensive expertise in Human Resources, particularly in compensation and benefits, talent acquisition and management, and training within a large organization, will be invaluable. The CHRO should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations.
