The Company
Our client is one of the world’s leading consumer goods company with a strong global presence. They are a leading player in its industry with their products in every household worldwide and their dominance continues to be unchallenged. With a strong leadership team in Myanmar, they are now looking for an experienced Head of Finance as part of a succession plan for their business in Myanmar.

The Position
Reporting to the CFO, the Head of finance will be responsible for entire Profit & Loss, including both actuals and forecasts. There will be a need to take charge of in-year performance management across their core business categories, identifying value opportunities that require intervention, and work in close cooperation with the Country General Manager. The Head of Finance will develop corrective actions to bridge gaps to targets, driving decision-making around resource allocation and budget setting. Additionally, there will be a need to drive and manage the investment strategy and Return on Investments, as well as deliver and monitor pricing initiatives, providing support in customer negotiations.

The Person
The ideal candidate should have an Accountancy of Finance Degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years of experience in a senior management role. Candidates should have strong communication skills, an analytical mind-set, problem solving abilities and a strong track record of leading a team.
