As the company expands into SE Asia, there is a need to build a team for a new, state-of-the-art factory in Vietnam.

The Position 

Reporting to the General Manager for Vietnam, the Head of Assembly Factory will lead the assembly process production tasks, allocate them reasonably to each workshop, and make timely adjustments to ensure the smooth completion of various work objectives. This includes organizing discussions, implementation, and improvement of safety measures in each workshop. The Assembly Factory Head will strictly organize production in accordance with process requirements and quality standards. In addition, he/she is responsible for guiding and supervising the quality management of workshop directors in this department and organizing quality / technical improvements.

The appointed individual is also expected to build the team for the assigned department, proposing requirements for employee assessment and training, and assisting in implementation.

The Person 

Interested candidates should offer a Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, or related field and with at least more than five years of experience in workshop production management, and management experience in large-scale manufacturing teams with over 500 employees. Candidates coming from large home furnishing industry, home appliance industry, electronics industry, and automotive industry are preferred. The candidate must have good planning and organizational skills, communication skills, and interpersonal coordination skills. He/She should have knowledge and experience in managing occupational health, safety and environmental. Finally, a good command of Chinese and Vietnamese language (spoken and written) is also required.
