The Company

The organisation is a fast-growing regional developer of modern and sustainable logistics warehouses. Its continued expansion in current markets will be complemented by additional new market entry in 2025 and as such, there is a need to bolster its team. This includes the proposed building of an in-house legal team and the appointment of a Senior Counsel / Head of Legal.

The Position   

Reporting to the Board whilst working closely with the CEO, the appointed individual is expected to establish the legal department and play a strategic role to support business growth. As such, the scope will broadly include policy reviews and proposals, JV agreements, equity/debt fund-raising, management and inter-company agreements as well as managing and negotiating terms with regional external counsel. The supporting team, once established, will support day-to-day legal matters (SPAs, tenancy agreements, legal DD, drafting, compliance). The appointed individual is also anticipated to prepare the company for future M&A and/or listing strategies that may emerge.

The Person

Interested candidates will possess at least 10+ years PQE (practice and in-house) whilst offering a broad array of commercial experience covering the real estate sector, including asset development, JVs, capital markets and general corporate matters. Current or prior exposure to regional real estate operations will be advantageous.
