Job description

  • Private Equity Real Estate

  • Project Co-ordination, Analysis & Reporting

  • Salary: c$5-6k per month

The Company

The organisation is a well-established Real Estate fund manager comprising multiple product strategies across a highly-diversified portfolio of assets (logistics, office, retail, student accommodation, hospitality, DC) located across the first-tier APAC markets. Whilst the priority is to deliver and exceed investment returns, increasingly there is also a requirement to meet ESG/sustainability goals. The firm is now looking to appoint a junior member into its Sustainability team.

The Position

Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, whilst working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders (investment, asset management, investor relations), the appointed individual will support new initiatives to raise portfolio sustainability performance whilst co-ordinating workflow between external consultants and internal teams whilst also ensuring investor (LP) goals and directives are met to expectation. Concurrently, the appointed individual will build strong understanding of local and international sustainability/ESG benchmarks against which the firm’s policies, strategies and portfolio will be measured and reported. The role will require a balance of internal/external communications and relationship-building with data gathering and analysis.

Why consider this position: this a super entry-level opportunity for a fresh graduate or 1-year post-graduate early-career professional with a strong desire to build a career within the field of sustainability.

The Person

Interested candidates will offer a good Degree (Real Estate, Finance/Economics/Business, Communications) with either 1-year post-grad experience or fresh graduate with appropriate internship experience and an absolute interest to pursue a career within the field of Sustainability/ESG. Interested individuals should be self-motivated, articulate and enjoy cultivating and managing relationships. Given the need to gather and present key data, interested individuals should be comfortable with basic to intermediate Excel functions.
