The Company
A well-established healthcare solutions provider is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to drive sales growth and market expansion. Specializing in medical and life sciences, the company provides medical and laboratory equipment and clinical management services across Myanmar. With a strong presence in major cities and remote areas, the company is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare solutions supported by an expert after-sales and engineering team, including certified engineers trained overseas.
The Position
Reporting to senior management, the Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales objectives and increasing market share in the medical sector. The role involves developing and managing distribution networks, ensuring compliance with company policies and business strategies. The individual will lead the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and customer engagement strategies.
The role requires effective sales call planning and team management, ensuring optimal customer coverage and business development in assigned regions. The Assistant Sales Manager will forecast regional sales targets, manage stock levels, and prepare monthly sales and stock reports for senior management. Additionally, the individual will maintain strong customer relationships, providing insights on market trends, industry updates, and competitor activities to support business strategies.
Frequent customer visits and travel in and outside the city are required to maintain a strong market presence and ensure business growth. The role also includes customer account management, ensuring smooth operations and providing technical solutions related to medical equipment and healthcare products.
The Person
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have at least five years of sales experience, preferably in the healthcare or medical equipment industry. The individual should possess strong leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and team management. Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English are essential.
The candidate must demonstrate strong sales and interpersonal skills, time management, negotiation, analytical problem-solving, and a results-driven mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required, along with the ability to make strategic business decisions. The role also demands frequent travel, ensuring a proactive approach to business development and market expansion.
