The Position

The Head of Category Innovation will be responsible for the development, management, and enhancement of the company's demand management framework. This role requires a leader who can drive the execution of collaborative demand planning processes, ensuring the generation of dynamic and consensus-driven sales forecasts. The individual will play a critical role in engaging with regional sales managers and key stakeholders to improve forecasting capabilities, streamline execution, and enhance overall efficiency.

A key aspect of this role is leading new product launches, overseeing changes in packaging, labeling, and sizing while ensuring all projects are executed on time. The Head of Category Innovation will facilitate seamless collaboration between internal departments, ensuring alignment in product innovation initiatives. This role also involves active communication across functions to monitor and review project progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure smooth execution. Additionally, the individual will work closely with commercial and demand planning teams to enhance forecasting processes, ensuring that market trends and consumer demands are effectively anticipated and met. To measure and improve overall performance, the role will also involve establishing and tracking key performance metrics while continuously working on process improvements.

The Person

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, preferably with a focus on Supply Chain or Logistics. Strong analytical and forecasting skills are essential, along with expertise in demand management. The candidate must be proficient in Excel, Pivot Tables, and presentation tools, demonstrating the ability to analyze and communicate data-driven insights effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to engage with stakeholders across different levels of the organization. The role demands someone who is proactive, able to work independently, and takes full ownership of tasks while ensuring timely follow-ups and execution. Prior experience in the FMCG or beverage industry is highly preferred, particularly in demand planning, innovation, or supply chain management.
