The role will execute project planning and consolidated project and program reporting across all business units whilst assessing project deliverables (and associated risk / mitigation). There may be some direct responsibility for project delivery whilst remaining alert to any business process changes that may impact project execution across the resort. As such, the appointed individual will understand the end-to-end of the development masterplan, the dimensions of each project to be executed whilst ensuring the updated integrity of the program, including the provision of project-related inter-department communication across each business unit and key stakeholders. A strong grasp of the Thailand market is essential whilst an ability to successfully operate within a multi-cultural environment is also important. This will include luxury hotels, retail, F&B and entertainment attractions whilst balancing practical (including back-of-house) and aesthetic considerations including lighting, cooling, ventilation, public realm furniture and signage. The role will be responsible for the review of design briefs for each component whilst ensuring alignment to the overall vision of the resort. It will include planning feasibility, urban and environmental studies (traffic, pedestrian, mass tourism and similar) to understand traffic flow, circulation and space interconnectedness that will then form the master plan proposal. The Person Interested candidates will be architecturally-trained (Degree in Architecture or Design) and preferably underpinned by a Masters’ accreditation, complete with appropriate large-scale design and master-planning experience with demonstrable expertise relating to optimised space planning and zoning.
